School Hallway Murals

In 2006 I had an artistic vision for Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute. A plan that began in 2007 and spanned the next 4 years, was to collaborate with my art and photography students to design and create paintings, murals and photographs that would adorn the main foyer and walls of LCVI.

For the first project Grade 9 and 10 LACVI art students created 15 large murals for the main hallways of the school.

The following year, the fall of 2008, Grade 9 and 10 students continued the mural project and filled more of the school hallways. Designs were a combination of the students’ artistic style and imagery related to the subjects taught in each hallway.
